The Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch medical group (CINN) is one of the largest and most clinically active neurosurgical practices in the country, treating in excess of 5,000 patients annually at eight primary locations throughout Chicagoland, including two offices in Chicago, as well as Elmhurst, Harvey, Oak Lawn, Skokie and Vernon Hills. CINN’s multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of conditions of the brain and spine encompasses the clinical expertise and experience of 11 neurosurgeons, six physiatrists, 2 neurologists and one neurointerventionalist. In many other cases, however, the best approach is non-surgical. X-ray guided injections help confirm the cause of a problem and ensure that medication is delivered to the precise location where it’s needed.
