What helped me... (Weak / painful lower back)

Ok I am not a Dr at all but would like to tell people what helped me and maybe help a few people.

I am 25 and have had lower back problems for about 7 years since I hada a pushbike accident, I jarred my back after going off a HUGE drop accidently on my pushbike and landing sat on the seat jarring my back up.

Some days I couldnt even stand up my back would just collapse on me it was very scary. The Dr said the muscles between my lower vertabre were in spasm and tried lots of therapies including electrosis pads with not much effect.

I find that RUNNING / JOGGING sorts my back out 100%, after just one run ( I run about 5km - 7km ), even at a slow pace I can feel the difference. My back does ache whilst Im running but the next morning its SO much better. I really hated running and still dont really enjoy it but its a small price to pay for a good strong back Smile

As I said I'm no Dr and don't know alot about the human body just hoped to help some people out...

The spacers in your back are gone/going, spinal nerve damage.
Spinal spurs. Both knee caps & both hips have degenerative bone disease, arthritis and bone spurs.
No surgeries as Drs. don't think it will help and may make things worse.

Running and Jogging

is something that I really believe most doctors will tell their Spinal patients NOT to do.
Especially anyone with potential disc or nerve problems.
Perhaps with some minor muscle problems, some light running may help.
There has been enough written on the negative effects that jogging has on the spine.

Running ~ (on your mark...)

I never could run...

My knobby knees would get all tangled up with each other and I'd trip all over myself...

But that's just me.... (I hope)
