I am scheduled to have my first ESI on Monday(26th)and am quite nervous.I am having the ESI because I have been suffering from neck pain that radiates down both arms. In addition to severe migraine headaches. I am hoping that this will help relieve some of the pain I have been going thru for years.

Car accidents 12-98 and 01-02
Slip and Fall 05-09
Herniated discs C-3~6 DDD
Migraines
No surgeries
Steriod injection in right shoulder 02-03
Several courses of PT
Aqua aerobics
Meds: Have tried most migraine meds w no luck currently using Maxlalt MLT, with decent results also take Topamax 50 mg/2 day; Gabapentin 600MG, ZANAFLEX 6MG, ULTRAM 200MG, CYMBALTA 60MG, MAGNESIUM 500MG, CoQ10 300MG, B2 300MG.
Try not to be too nervous. It is not a pleasant procedure but it is over quickly and hopefully the results will be well worth having it done. Try and focus on the positive results that you hope to achieve rather than how uncomfortable the procedure might be. Good luck and keep us posted.
