I figure the reason cigarettes are addictive is "THE DEVIL!" -- just kidding -- nicotine is the culprit.
I absolutely hate the fact that I can't just quit smoking and I must stop for health reasons and for insurance reasons. I didn't start smoking until 7 years ago -- At 54, don't think that was a smart move!
I originally started to stop the creeping pounds of midlife flesh from coming on -- didn't work, now I'm smoking and gaining weight (LOL).
Anyway, any particular reason you asked that question?
Take care,
Judy
Herniated disk (L5) no surgeries to date, super nasty nerve pain, left leg. 3 epidurals (Jan, Feb 09) (Short term relief) June 09, Second opinion from Ortho doc with new MRI -- not a surgery candidate -- referred to pain management doctor.
So sorry about editing your post. I sent you a Private MEssage (PM) to explain why.
Basically, this is a website dedicated to spine issues. We have this forum here as a support to others experiencing such problems. We come here for information and assistance. We also offer our support and personal experience in the hope it helps someone else who has come here because they are new to the world of pain (acute, chronic, intractible, etc).
We are not an advertising agency.
If you are experiencing back problems, or neck problems, or a by product of such, please come back and share with us. A little history about yourself is also helpful.
We have enough problems without someone trying to sell us something...
Thank you for understanding.

I am not a medical professional. BUT, I DID stay in a Holiday Inn last week...
Don't get your knickers in a knot; it solves nothing and makes you walk funny.
