~ 3-lvl ACDF C4-5 C5-6 C6-7 with hardware on Oct. 21, 2008.
~ Jan 21 Update: Levels C4-5 and C5-6 are fused. Still waiting for C6-7 to join the party.
~ June 15 Update: C6-7 is fusing nicely, although there's still some join movement. But since I have no severe symptoms, nothing to worry about yet.
~ July 1 Update: Lumbar MRI: Swollen and inflamed L4-5 facet joints causing back pain, diffuse bulge at that level causing sciatica.
~ESI and Facet Joint Injections done, both bilaterally, August 6, 2009. (Very easy and painless procedure, mild sedation.) Facet Joints getting bad again, no sciatica yet, ESI worked (so far).
~September 24, 2009: Lower back pain back. Sciatica is back
~October 2, 2009: Medial Branch Block diagnostic scheduled for October 14. Precurser to Rhizotomy.
~November 2009 Update: Medial Branch Block didn't work, not a candidate for Rhizotomy. TLIF surgery on L4/5 scheduled for January 6, 2010.
